Kine Østnes Hansen

Kine is a scientist at KinSea, bringing in her expertise in project management, compound management, and identification and profiling of novel compounds for drug discovery.

Kine holds a position as associate professor at Marbio, UiT the Arctic University of Norway. Through her career she has specialised on isolation and characterisation of bioactive marine natural products from invertebrate biomass.

Following her PhD in biotechnology 2014, her research focus has furthermore been on translational research in the field of preclinical drug development, mainly in vitro pharmacokinetic characterising of potent and selective kinase inhibitors and target product profiling.
